#7: Go on a Hayride!

Happy Fall Y’all! This is one of the most beautiful seasons in the Valley and we want you to enjoy every minute of it. This week, we’ll be sharing one idea each day with lots of great give-aways to celebrate!

The (un)Official Penns Valley Fall Bucket List

#1. Go to the Penns Valley Homecoming Parade and Game!

#2: Make your home cozy inside!

#3. Go to “The Farmer’s Wife is Bringing in the Harvest”.

#4. Enjoy the Aaronsburg Dutch Fall Festival (Be sure to enter “Saturday at the Festival” give-away)

#5. Stroll Muddy Paws Marsh

#6: Hike Seven Mountains Nature Trail

#7: Go on a hayride!

All Spring and Summer, farmers and tractors have been moving dirt, planting seeds, spreading manure, and harvesting crops. Now, it’s time for those same farmers and tractors to tote some people around! It’s hayride time!

I know of a couple options to meet your hay-riding needs:

1. The Farmer’s Wife is Bringing Home the Harvest offers hayrides for a $5/person fee. You can go Friday, October 4 – Sunday, October 6th from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and enjoy!

2. Family Life of Penns Valley is offering a free community hayride on Friday, October 11th. How awesome is that? Here’s what you need to know:  Arrive at 6:30 p.m. – Wagon leaves at 7 p.m. Meet at the corner of Route 192 and Ridge Road, in Centre Hall. Let us know you are coming so we know how many wagons to prepare. Contact: [email protected] or Tammie 814-422-8740.

So, make your plans, grab your sweaters, and snuggle up on a hayride!

(Did I miss any local hayrides?)

 Enjoy your home,
