#6: Hike Seven Mountains Nature Trail

When you’re driving up-and-down Route 322, heading into Centre County, you’ll see a rest area on the righthand side, by the “Welcome to Centre County” sign. If you pull over with your hiking shoes and camera, you can take a beautiful 15 minute walk up to a gorgeous look-out.

These photos are from a hike last year. I think it was a fairly easy hike up to the vista, but maybe a little rocky and slippery coming down. In fact, I think a gentleman stopped us at the look-out and expressed concern about us descending with the little guy, but at that point, we had only one option…

So, we held on tightly, took our time, and returned to our car safely. It was a beautiful adventure. The look-out is priceless!
