The General Potter Barn looked beautiful with twinkly lights draped across the ceiling, and tea-lights and flowers lining the room. But that paled in comparison to the people. Penns Valley can dress up! Everyone looked stunning in their gowns and suits. What really made the place sparkle though, were the smiles amongst friends and neighbors as they celebrated such a wonderful gift to our community: the HOPE Fund of Penns Valley.
Want to know something fun? PennsValleyFamily.com donated an item in the silent auction! We’ll be writing a story for the winner… so stayed tuned.
The food was delicious. With hors d’oeuvres by Bobbie Dash, desserts by Delectable Delights by Heather, cash bar by Elk Creek Cafe’ + Aleworks, and a special wine from Seven Mountains Wine Cellars, we were well taken-care of. Take a look at the beauty:
Ryan and I had a wonderful time together. It’s been a while since we’ve had an opportunity to get all dressed up and go out on the town (as you know, in Penns Valley a fancy barn is “the town”). We learned a few swing-dancing steps from Kevin Fee of Dance Harmony and thoroughly enjoyed the talented PVHS Jazz musicians.
Oh, and we couldn’t resist the photo booth…
If you were there, what’d you love?
If you weren’t there, come next year?
Enjoy your home,
