This Week’s Calendar

Here are a few things that you may want to know about this week:

Thursday night is Teen Open Mic Night at the Centre Hall Library. What a great opportunity for budding poets, musicians, and authors to share their art with a supportive audience! Encourage your teen to try it out, or go to support other artists in the area. From 6:30 – 8 p.m.

Saturday is the first Blood Drive in Aaronsburg! The Aaronsburg Civics Club has worked diligently to host a blood drive for the Aaronsburg/ Woodward area and we need to support their efforts. If you typically donate blood in State College, consider going the other direction this month and donating in Aaronsburg. Oh, and this just in: if you bring a friend and donate you get a free gift! You can’t lose: save a life, chat with a friend, and get a gift. Now that’s a great way to spend your Saturday. Stop in at The Aaronsburg Community Building any time between 12:30 and 6:30 p.m.  🙂

 Enjoy your home,

About Laura

We are one little family and we're on a mission: we want to discover our hometown and share the treasures with you! Just think of all the tractor-pulls, restaurants, farm stands, mom-and-pop shops, and local attractions that we'll enjoy together. We hope that our discoveries and ideas strengthen your family and our hometown Penns Valley, Pennsylvania.

The Aaronsburg Civic Club’s Facebook page says that the blood drive is on Friday, not on Saturday. I hope they have a good show of people. I am going to try to give blood.

Ooo… I like it! I’ll look into it.

I’m also interested in working with an up-and-coming Senior who is looking for an exciting Senior Project… If you hear of anyone who might be interested, let me know.

Hey, had a thought for you…..get connected with PVHS and the kids that are future journalist and get them to post some stories and information on your website…..possibly if the teacher is supportive, they can get some points for the work!
