What’s up this week: 11/11 – 11/17

Around the Valley, everyone is getting ready for the holidays. Consult the Community Calendar for all of the week’s events, but here are some of the highlights:

Monday – Friday: Drop your Operation Christmas Child boxes off at Faith Alive Fellowship Church on Route 45, one mile west of PVHS. Get a peak at a distribution center and find out how you can volunteer next year.

Thursday: Free Teen Movie Night at Centre Hall Library from 6:30 – 8:00. Enjoy chocolate covered pretzels, hot chocolate, and elf.

Friday-Saturday: While supplies last, Brookvale Gift Shop at the Old Fort intersection has these beautiful black candles and plates on sale for $1.50 a piece. Talk about a deal! Put together a beautiful centerpiece gift for less than $10! The shop is open on Friday and Saturday from 10 – 5.



Holiday Bazaar: enjoy some soup and homemade goodies at New Hope Lutheran Church’s annual holiday bazaar.

Farmer’s Market: From 10 – 1 p.m., it’s time to head indoors to The Old Gregg School for the Valley’s delicious farmer’s market. Look for it there every Saturday morning!
