Centre Hall Library: Story Time and Potholders

Story time has begun at the library and we’ve set it (almost) in stone on our calendar. The most recent Children’s Director does a wonderful job and our children really enjoyed their time with her. Check it out on Monday’s at 10:30.

While I was there, I actually snagged a couple of potholders for a steal. I know, I know, the beauty of going to the library is saving money; not spending it. BUT, you’ve just gotta stop into Centre Hall Area Branch Library every now and then to check out the latest craft that’s for sale. I’ve discovered some major treasures there in the past. The proceeds go to the library, so it’s not really like you’re spending money. (Is it?) Anyway, right now, there are several different patterns of potholders made by a local library-lover on sale for $3 and $4 a piece. The girls and I chose this fabric, even though I could have gone for the black, red, and white apron pattern, too… very French.
