Grange Fair: $2.25 treasure!

We were starving and I just couldn’t face one more fried food. So, we stopped by that little grocery store on the corner and snagged 3 delicious plums and 2 perfect bananas for $2.25. It was the deal of the day! I heard some folks griping about the $0.89/pound sign on the bananas, but in my estimation, they were worth every penny (note: in the photo, the baby has already inhaled 90% of his and we had just finished paying).Enjoy your home,

I am a life long resident of PV. Loving this site! Another great Fair find…..$3.00 grilled chicken on a stick! (I am a mother of a child who eats no bread. Her choice no diet issues) Nice plain chicken. Also barbeque flavored. Across from bread bowl soup place on main strip. 🙂
    Looking forward to reading more!

Ooo, thanks for the heads-up, Jenn. We love chicken, so we’ll have to check that out the next time we’re looking for something to eat. Sounds like just the thing. Thanks for joining us here; I’ll look forward to lots more tips from you! 🙂
