The Bike Parade at Centre Hall Area Branch Library

If you haven’t discovered Centre Hall’s library yet, you’ve just gotta get yourself over to Beryl Street. It’s a gem! So the next time you’re driving through town, turn when you see the blue library sign. With a darling children’s section, an active children’s program, and plenty of books for moms and pops, you are sure to fall in love with this local treasure. Right now, we’re in the midst of a fun summer reading program called “Dream Big: Read!” It’s not too late to sign your children up for the program through Centre County Library & Historical Museum. Each week, the children read, read, read, and have chances to win prizes and guess the number of candies in a jar (I’m still hoping to score this week’s Twizzlers).

On July 5, we were all smiles as children pulled up to the library on decorated bikes. After entering raffle tickets for a free chance to win 2 tickets to DelGrosso’s Amusement Park, the children lined up and paraded down the street. They were all as pleased as punch with themselves. It was adorable.

Our girls had a blast and got some great decorating ideas for next year’s bike parade. If you want to get in on the fun, stop by the library for a schedule of their fun events!

 Enjoy your home,
